I pretty much agree with on that Serge, that it takes a while for GGG to get going at his age now, but I think part of that is due to his preparation. All I'm saying is, if you look at rounds 9-12, GGG's handspeed was a lot faster than it was in the early rounds. So the potential for him to compete at a high level is still there. Once he got that engine started, he was very effective in there and it was back and forth, very close, in rounds 9-12. And lets not forget, in the post fight interview GGG made it clear that this was very high level boxing, and he gave Canelo his flowers. At this point Serge, I think we need to all (including you) give Canelo his flowers. He's undefeated vs GGG in 3 fights, and that right there is legendary. If Canelo never existed, GGG would have retired undefeated, and fans would be putting him up there with ATG Middleweights. If Canelo never existed, he probably would be talked about as better than Hagler at this point. But GGG met his match in Canelo 3x and it's time to accept that. The fact is Serge that Canelo proved over 3 bouts that he was GGG's Kazakh Kryptonite. Canelo did what no one else could. We need to give Canelo his flowers Serge. And, ya know, I'll show GGG my admiration for him as well. These were two legends in that ring last night. Canelo was the better man, he proved it in the squared circle. Give the man his flowers. He earned it. He took GGG's best shots 3x and kept coming, dishing out plenty of punishment on the G man 3x.
But you didnt notice GGG didnt throw his right hand? Mate, thats why he wasnt throwing power shots. All he had was a jab and a hook off it. That was the biggest story of the night. GGG didnt throw his right hand! No one bloody noticed! I cant believe highly paid commentators, and many ex boxers didnt notice!! Lomo did, here; This content is protected .
Pac was the most tested fighter in boxing history and passed all tests with no scandal. Find a way to deal with it.
The Cope is hard with this one, Not only being the most tested fighter, but Pacquiao taking more breaks?? now I've heard it all.
You need to lay off the hallucinogenics and get back on your antipsychotics ASAP. Just because GGG finally managed to get his engine going in the last third of the fight doesn't mean it isn't battered, old, and rusted to ****. Even when it gets going he can only trundle and splutter along these days No GGG is at worst 2-1 against Clenelo on every sane and unbiased fan's card and the only reason he isn't officially is because of the corruption which is as synonymous with Clenelo as ginger hair is rearing its ugly head again. And GGG is 2-1 against a prime juiced Clenelo when he himself was way past his prime/shot to bits.
That Vegas judging corruption, which so heavily "supposedly" favored Canelo the first 2 times suddenly did a complete 180 last night and favored GGG, which I predicted btw. I also stated that it was very unlikely that either man would hurt or stop the other. As far as GGG's engine only being able to "trundle and splutter along these days", we also need to factor in the GGG "stage fright" factor causing him to do next to nothing for 8 rounds stemming from the G man being in the ring with Kazakh Kryptonite once again. Before finally snapping out of his 8 round trance and mustering up a mini-rally late starting in round 9. What happened in those first 8 rounds Serge was GGG didn't want to feel what he felt 4 years ago again, so he went into total survival mode, a GGG we have never come close to seeing before. Canelo turned Eurasian heat into a Eurasian punching bag.
