Maybe...maybe won three rounds at most. Trout did excellent work all night long and pressed the fight. Excellent work with his jab and straight punches to the body. Judges don't know how to score for ****.
I honestly thought Trout won, I had it 115-112 but the fact that 90% of people have it scored for Canelo I'm questioning my sanity! I'll watch it again tomorrow, it's like 5am here!
You score like one of those judges you're complaining about. One of the cards was extremely biased but the right man got the nod.
He controlled the fight. Landed more punches. Even with the KD it wasn't that close a fight. The fact that the scores favored Canelo so heavily PROVE that the fix was in. It PROVES it!!!
Outboxed?! hardly. He was tired and still dodged most of Trout's stuff. It was a close fight. Canelo's upper body movememt impressed, I didn't know he had that. He needs to work on shortening his punches, too wild, which tires him.
I thought Trout won. I was rooting for Canelo all the way, but I call it like I see it. I saw a 115-113, 7 rounds to 4 with 1 round even victory for Austin Trout. I will score it again tomorrow.
You have your names mixed up in the thread title. Alvarez landed the better shots, had the better defense and accuracy, and had the knockdown. Easy call, but a very good fight and a good performance from Trout nonetheless.
