I had the fight 8 rounds to 4 Golovkin easily. Harold Lederman had it the same. Paulie had the fighth 9 rounds to 3 Golovkin, the on-line polls had over 90% with Golovkin as the winner, that fight was not close at all. Golovkin's jab beat Alvarez' head off, Alvarez hit Golovkin with his best punch and Golovkin walked right through it without blinking. Alvarez' face showed that he could not believe it, after all, his right hand knocked Khan out! Golovkin won the fight an almost everyone knows it, so rationalize all you want, Golovkin won the fight clearly. Now El Pollo does not want to fight a rematch, at least not for a long time, yeah, after Golovkin is 40 years old. Golovkin will probably fight Saunders next, he will knock Saunders out for the WBO title and go from there. El Pollo does not want to fight much, this fight took a lot out of El Pollo. Fact it that El Pollo lied, he said he would fight Mexican style, toe to toe, Golovkin said the same, only Golovkin did not lie, he chased El Pollo around the ring like the chicken in the first Rocky movie. You can't win a fight by running, staying the ropes taking punches, playing defense, but when El Pollo landed his best punch from left field and Golovkin walked right through it, you could see it on his face, he got concerned....................

LOL.. So true.,,, hits Golovkin all he got and doesn't budge him one bit. Caramello must of been all shook up. As soon as G hit Canelo he went scooting away staying away as far as he can. LOL I don't think he could ever fight mexican style against Golovkin....Void style, YES!!

Golovkin was not holding, Alvarez did hold at times, he also ran, stayed on the ropes, got his arse out boxed, got out jabbed, the most important punch in boxing is the jab.................El Pollo could not hurt Golovin at all, not with his best punch to the head or the body. Good think Golovkin did not throw body punches like he used to...................or El Pollo would have lost more than his feathers, by the way, feathers, Byrd, sounds about right. I assume you think Byrd is the greatest boxing judges in boxing history, as Bob Bennett likes to put it. You are a Byrd judge. Golovkin was more active, kept Alvarez backing up, now Alvarez does not want the rematch, at least not until Golovkin is 40, they want Golovkin to get old..................they thought he was too old to fight, but they got fooled, in a rematch Golovkin has a surprise for El Pollo! El Pollo want's Byrd as the judge of course..............

"Slap" is a good definition of gg's power vs good oposition that knows the game.

Plus, I heard they had to carry the air to he hospital after the fight, and that gg is still in the ring throwing punches and looking for canelo. Some of you, fanboys, should tell him that the fight is over and canelo is at home.

Both guys did very well. Canelo improved so much that he is now called a runner because he developed footwork like we have never saw from him? SMH
Canelo went to the ropes at times on his own and other times because he was cut off but GGG never went for the kill due to the risk of counter shots.
GGG did well too but was not the monster we saw in the past. He took his time but again credit to Big Red for forcing GGG to not throw at his body out of respect for Big Red power punching counters
At the end I had it 115/113 GGG
Great fight and I even predicted GGG to win by TKO. Canelo is only going to get better and a bigger beast next year.
Hope to see these two banging again before GGG is too old to be competitive with the young kid

A really bizarre comment ! In your strange world the Jab doesn't count. Running and fighting one minute of a round is ring generalship. Long answers like yours make people feel you have no idea what so ever. Who can forget Canelo complaining to the ref in round 11 . "HE HIT ME IN THE KIDNEY'S" while I was running away and turning my back.

Only guy I hear crying is G claiming Canelo ran and doesn't fight like a Mexican lmao.

How do you guys condone this nonsense and loser ability. G has taken no responsibility on why he wasn't effective. Even when he was asked why he couldn't make it a drama show.

The reason is because he's more limited than Canelo. Just was able to theatrically look busier because we all know who was more effective.

    Troll harder please.

35 isn't yet old enough to be impressed by just because most average Joe's by that age are on the verge of slipping into midlife crisis. Leave the age related awe to guys like Hopkins and Wlad.
