Yep I thought the Fight was going to be 50/50 but it was an absolute Beat down really....

 

I don't get the ring generalship part. Golovkin wanted him on the ropes while Canelo wanted to be on the ropes. Who is the general there?

Canelo looked good when he let his hands go, and when he was centre ring.

But it seems to me that either Alvarez didn't want to engage for too long for fear of being drawn into a slugfest with Golovkin, OR that his gas tank simply doesn't permit the pace that he fights at, in his spurts, as a continuous strategy. In the rematch his single greatest improvement would be to get a bigger gas tank and in GGG's case, to go to the body.

It was a really good fight, I enjoyed it.
