Yeah it is but hopefully it can be overcome, most in his division ain't that tall, so it is unlikely they will ever meet. Maybe at 160 more likely his biggest threats are around 5'8-6'0 currently, Kirkland angulo, trout, vanes, lara.

Thurman will destroy Angulo if they fought next week, Nothing new has been added to Angulos game, he gets hit in exchanges all the time, Thurman has a much tighter defense doesnt rush too much he looks to place his shots, Angulo just trys to gun you down leaving allot of opportunities for a guy like Thurman to score.
We already have seen Angulo knocked out we have also seen him out boxed he is not a tuff nut to crack

rhodes is 5'8", an inch taller than canelo(check the eyes and not the hairlines).

5'8" is not big for a jmw, its actually small(and far from massive). i know that its hard for people that are new to the sport to understand but look up past champions in the last 20 years. winky, vargas, dlh, norris, tito, leonard, hearns, mccallum, mccrory, curry, reid, jackson, spinks, dlh; all these guys are 5'9-5'11".

so in order for canelo to dominate at 154(160 is even that much more difficult if not impossible), the 5'7" alvarez will have to be successful where all the others have come up short...he'll be the first dominant jmw champ in recent times overcoming his height limitation.

and thats why, among other things(plodding footwork, suspect defense and matchmaking, no jab and no one-punch power), that i am willing to make a lifetime esb ban bet(anyone with over two years and 1000 posts) that canelo will lose before he beats three top-five boxrec.com jmws.

and more than likely someone would only have to win one legitimate fight because canelo and gbp will in all likelihood win a robbery(lara/williams) through the judges and a gimmie with bundrage(if you cant beat a 39-year-old 5'6" jmw you are finished).

and the funny thing about this is that with all these know-it-alls praising the greatness of la perra corriendo, only Undisputed has taking me up on this bet.

    wtf?

Yeah that Eye thing makes sense, but height is usally determined at the hair line not the actual hair of course, so I think they are about the same height. Canelo has a bigger forehead :D and a massive neck lol he's definitely not 5'7 more like 5'8, so its not a huge height disparity. at 160 I think he would be very undersized, because people say GGG is undersized but dude is stocky as **** like canelo, but still taller then canelo, so I think 154 is a good division for canelo to rule, his toughest match ups will be at 160 if he ever gets there as the height disparity may be to much

You now changed to 3 top 5 guys? LMAO that's a pretty great task for any weight class and takes time, I remember you writing who won't beat any top 10 guy his same size.

Why not to do a an AVI bet with me that he will against any top 5 guy. and if he losses I'll rock any AVI....

    Only time will tell.

look it up, i never said one.

    ever.

do a search and post the link. you cant because there isnt one. i dont make bets that i think im going to lose and i dont stick my foot in my mouth so i have to take the time to pull it out.

its always been three because canelo is going to steal one fight and if you cant beat a bundrage then canelo is worse than even his greatest naysayers think.

for the record canelo is not a bad fighter, hes just no better than all the rest in the stacked, competitive but limited current 154 division(everyone has some flaws and there is no one dominant player).

the problem is that canelo is the champ and not acting like one. and rhodes is taller not that its going to make any difference.

i think this kid has no hand speed, he throws his punches wider than the pacific ocean, but packs with power though..
but still his style is very easy to counter with someone as fast as Mayweather/Martinez...

i would like to see this kid fight Martinez or Floyd..
i bet he will look ordinary..

but i'll give him a chance with a "lucky punch"
