You know that guys Coed-Red's post is pure despeartion to discredit Canelo.

What is funny is that they are trying to discredit Canelo yet at 25 has a more impressive resume than MOST fighters around his weight.

I repeat, canelo DESTROYS chavez's resume and career if we only take into account their first 50 (49) fighst.

I dont think that canelo will be better than chavez, it's too much. But you hate him so much that you cannot even wait to the right time to denigrate him just for fun like you do.

How about a counter offer at 157 or 158?

Hopkins went down for Oscar and Hopkins is bigger than GGG

He also has a resume built on catchweights, unfair advantages, and a bit of questionable judges and scoring. Just so you know I don't hate Cinnamon I just don't find his style, talent, or ability impressive.

I honestly think Oscar De La Hoya was a better all around fighter than Alvarez, especially at 25! Alvarez to me already fights like a fighter on the decline, like old Hopkins not young Hopkins. He is slow, flat footed, low stamina, low punch count, not aggressive.

People complain that an older Floyd only throws a few punches and combos a round....that's how young Alvarez fights right now! Floyd and BHop adjusted to that style due to age, Alvarez in my opinion is just overweight and lazy!

How is he hiding when he can fight GGG as long as GGG mans up and agrees to the terms.

Great fighters of the past have done so such as Hopkins who went down in weight to fight ODLH.

But I can't hold that against GGG I guess, since GGG is not cut out of the same clothe as ATGREATS like Hopkins.

Lara, Cintron, Kirkland.... The guy is feasting on Carlos Molina's left-overs FFS!!

Then he ditches on a championship belt to hide from 3G and you actually are stupid enough to criticize Golovkin for that??

Seriously, either find a new sport or accept the fact that you are of vastly inferior intelligence. Or, ya know.......

His résumé is inflated though. He's had a very privileged career, which he can thank people like Chavez for. Of course he's gonna have fought renowned names, he's got the biggest boxing supporting culture in his favour, so everyone's clamouring to get in with him. Many would argue he should already have 3 losses.

He's a very solid fighter, and to be fair does look to be still improving, but it seems to me people see his ceiling as artificially high because of his lengthy positioning as the next great hope.

If Alvarez is in fact being positioned as the next great hope, it's in hope of doing what? He already loss to Mayweather and his handlers won't let him near a Golovkin or Andre Ward....so my question is what are they hoping he will do, if not Golovkin who exactly do Cinnafans want to see him fight?

He didn't fight GGG. Instead he laid the belt at GGG's feet. His lasting legacy will be forever damaged. He's a known Pu$$y.

He's only fought at a CW that was a clear advantage to him once, against Khan.

Against Angulo and Kirkland the 155 weight helped them as much if not MORE than it did Canelo.

Against Cotto, it was Cotto who wanted it.

Against Mayweather it was Mayweather who wanted it.

No shid, Oscar is a rare diamond type fighter. Who the hell fights anyone and everyone and never gets dominated? Only time he was dominated was in his last fight of his career, completely shot, and weight drained to hell.

 @ Alvarez looking like he's on the dcline WTF?!! Alvarez is looking better with each fight.

Do you even known what your watching?? His feints are getting better, his explosiveness, his timing, his punches are looking great!!

If you can't see that Canelo is just entering his prime perhaps you need more experience watching the sport.

Just because Canelo fights highly skilled movers with fast hands that make most if not all fighters look bad doesn't equate to him being on the decline.

FFS, if he had fighters who just stood infront of him like other fighters who fight nothing but bums he would look like the second coming of the messiah.

    :patsch

Alvarez is a counter puncher :patsch Do you eaxpect all fighters to have the same style. What's impressive is that a pure counter puncher like Alvarez can become the agressor and become an effective pressure fighter.

What is also impressive is that he can become a slick fighter like he was against Trout.

I don't know WTF you're talking about but Canelo is highly skilled and multi-dimensional.:deal

A 38 year old, war torn former flyweight with limited training camp due to other commitments, apparently. Truly the stuff of legend.

And it is still a HELL OF A LOT more than GGG has done.

I give Canelo some **** for duckong GGG but if there is one thing you have to admit is that he has one of the best resumes in boxing. Plus who the hell has reached ATG status by 25? theres no mord than a handful of boxers
