I disagree Alvarez brings that same fight style as he did with Trout and Floyd has problems Floyd will be forced to come forward and take more risk especially if Canelo can dart in and out as he did with Trout and win most of the early rounds. if he switches gears and boxes off the back foot as he did with Trout from about the 5th on Floyd is in a position where suddenly he is behind on the cards. I believe he has all the tools needed to not only beat Mayweather but stop Mayweather, the only thing he needs to focus on is conditioning and this little catchweight may do the trick it may turn out to be an advantage for Canelo rather than a disadvantage as he is young enough in which likely his body will be okay in taking off the extra 2 pounds.
How old were guerrero and ortiz, dumb****? How old is Floyd, dumb****? U think he's still prime or something?
Guerrero and Ortiz is c level fighters, So there should not be much credit for beating a c level fighter in his prime when you are the P4P #1
canelo will have the power to knock down mayweather. think about it, judah and mosley were able to rock mayweather. canelo has been improving dramatically with each fight, he is going to be able to stun/knockdown mayweather. canelo is bigger and stronger, which will make this a very interesting fight.
You must be confused with Manny Pac. Follow the sport you stupid noob. Floyd fought these guys in prime. Jesus Chavez, Carlos Henderaz, Angel manfreddy, Corrales, Castillo2x, Judah, Hatton, Ortiz, Robert guerruro, and somewhat in prime JMM.
not any more, the new catch weight king has to drain him to weaken him before the fight, otherwise why else do it ?
WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (39-0-1, 29KOs) is willing to drop a few pounds to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs). Mayweather is the World Boxing Council's champion at 147-pounds. Alvarez has no problem facing Mayweather at a catch-weight of 150-pounds.
