Well, at least Canelo is ADMITTING he wants to LOWBALL the WBA Champion by making it a nontitle fight and taking Lara's bargaining chip away.

Anything less than 40% and Lara will balk, and WE shouldnt complain if he does.

But Canelo is purposefully trying to LOWBALL Lara by essentially saying no belt, no leverage, no fair purse split.:nono

    And the two-month deal:huh:huh:huh

    WTF is that?:nono

If Canelo really wanted Lara, he'd come out and say......bring on Lara, and we'll give him 50/50 making it worth his while to drop out of the Smith fight and drop his title.

    Anything less is a DUCK.:deal

Huh? Canelo is the A-side financially. Ofc he is going to take bigger purse. He could easily go and fight bigger draws.

Not trying to talk up Canelo at all, but seriously - if Lara is getting a significantly larger payday than with Ishe in absolute terms then theres no way Canelo is ducking him by not going 50/50. It would only be a duck if he was paying close to same as what Lara would make otherwise. Even at 70/30 Lara will still be making 7 figures on a PPV fight, drastically more money.. no way Canelo is ducking him in that case.

I appreciate his age. That said he had to lay the law down with his promoters to get the trout fight so I think the point stands. Canelo has more faith in himself than his handlers have.

he is quitting televisa because a writer from the cia accuse him of having something to do with jaureguis death, so stop the lying and look a the big picture why after gbp accepted the ishe fight which is signed and the venue secured, they offering Lara a fight with ginger? Unless they pay step aside money to ishe and some kind of agreement with the casino showing the fight i don't see this fight happening, as a matter of fact looks more like a promotional stun than anything else... By the way if they fight dlh himself will jump into the ring to stop the beating on his cow cash.

is stupid to think lara deserves more than angulo, angulo was a bigger name among casuals with twice the fanbase than lara, and guess what ? angulo got no split... lara will be ducking if he prices him self out... but he can always go back to fight on FS1 on empty arenas and undercards, thats where he belongs anyways...
