Wow someone just said this is a step up for canelo???

If a man who's failed to win a fight in 3 years is a step up in competition then that well and truly says it all.

Why would you take those risks if your on the fast track for a huge payday against Mayweather? Would the above make for more competive bouts with Alvarez than Mosley? They would, but like I said when you have something huge like a Mayweather fight in your sights why would you take those risks?
I'm not suguesting that Alvarez beats Mayweather. However it is pretty clear that he's in front of the line for getting a fight with him.

for me, this fights not about if alvarez can beat mosley, its all about if alvarez can STOP mosley. shane's gone the distance with de la hoya, cotto, mayweather and pacquiao, so canelo will want to be the first to stop shane.
i dont know about mosley anymore, im not sure how much he's got left.
he's been a great fighter and it would be sad to see him reduced to being beaten up by young up and coming fighters, which is what i feel could be the case here, if alvarez wants to do that to him.

Why do people blame Saul for choosing Shane..

You can make 1.3 million for Mosley

    750K for Kirkland

    650K for El Perro...

Plus Kirkland has been exposed and is just hype..u saw what Ishida did to em..would hate to see what Canelo would do to em.

Kirkland just went to Mexico and took their "most dangerous" head off in a classic bout. Mosley arguably lost to Sergio Mora in the meanwhile.

    GTFOH.

it's a good fight, passing of the torch or surgar shane might shock the world. i'll go with canelo im still not sure if he can ko mosley but if anyone can at 154 its him and maybe kirkland. im not mad at the fight at all, current version of mosley is better then any fighter canelo has faced put together. and whats with the mosley dont deserve the fight ****, when you had a career like mosley you can get fights like this.what up in comer champion would not like to have mosley on there resume. look at lesser fighters like ab judah, every fight he is in a eliminator fight for ibf. now he's fighting for number one contener against paris.point you can be a gate keeper or just have name that people want on there resume. problem is anything can happen in boxing so you never know.

I'm interested to know why YOU think it wasn't a good fight...My opinion may differ from yours.

    Tell me if you agree...

Mosley was not the same fighter he once was, was removed from his prime, and was coming off a terrible performance.

Mosley was old, past-prime / not the same fighter he once was, could no longer pull the trigger, coming off a terrible performance, and did not deserve the fight. That win ranks outside of Pac's top 10 wins.
