The only thing I really want the Lara fight, but that kid brings nothing to the table, no fan base, no money, he wouldn't even make canelo's rank grow much as Lara stands at 0-1-1.... everyone calling him the GOAT and huge over ration from 154 but the dude just has an event win with Williams, and his fans were already disowning him after the molina gift draw, saying he needed a lot left and he was still a prospect in the dick riding cuban minds, after the event win he is the second coming of a cuban god... LMAO please.

Lara should be happy with a Kirkland fight or Angulo gotta work his way at least to a win on his record before he gets a shot at the red headed cash cow of 154 and to canelo's gifted belt, which all roads lead to. You gotta do something like what Kirkland did to deserve a shot at all the $$$ and belt.

I think canelo would have a harder time with Kirk then with Lara. But we'll see what happenes hopefully Lara puts himself on the radar instead of being like a little chihuahua barking at anything with a pulse.

Kirkland on the other hand might pull off the upset. Keep in mind that Canelo doesn't have the greatest chin either being wobbled by the lesser brother of Cotto. So it would be a battle of speed, power, and most importantly DEFENSE! Whoever can implement the best defense whilst throwing hayemakers will win. That in my mind is either a MID TKO win for Kirkland or an early stoppage for Canelo...possibly 11th or 12th round stoppage.

I'd go with Kirkland, but I think Canelo should take on Bundrage for a unification fight.

Lara beats the **** out of Canelo after a boxing clinic. The ginger robot is way WAY behind Lara in boxing skills.

I think Kirkland would be fairly easy for Canelo. He is a guy made in heaven for him. Kirkland comes at you with no defense in mind. There is a chance very slight chance he lands a lucky punch but Canelo is so composed inside that ring that i see Kirkland coming with his destroy mentality and CAnelo being a counter puncher with big power putting his lights out in probably the first minute. Canelo KO1 here.

The Lara fight would be a chess match which would be pretty even on the outside but Canelo would own Lara on the inside.
Lara is very talented like Canelo but no one has ever taught him how to fight on the inside. It's a shame because if he learned that he would probably be the best at 154.

The thing about Kirk is if he comes in at great shape, he still gots that chinca chin that canelo can easily crack, but it's just his mentality will be 100% and he does have power and will just come forward and bring that pressure, maybe I am over rating him but I really liked how he fought against Angulo which makes me think that in the early rounds Kirk might have a chance to catch Canelo cold as canelo is a slow starter and his best in mid to late where he will just punish KIRK into a stoppage with great counters and hard body shots.

Not sure though.

I think Lara will be the easy fight specially if he comes in unconditioned like his 2 previous bouts, and relies on the 1-2.. Molina exposed him a bit and canelo would just destroy him.

Still can't wait to see, IMO KIRK Canelo is PPV worthy. L

Very true. Like i said he has that lucky shot but I think Canelo will be very set on countering his aggression. Kirkland should focus a little more on defense and he would be better off for it as his chin will always be a liability. I can see Kirkland sprinting to Canelo from the start of the round pushing him towards the ropes then teeing off and if Canelo does not get KOd quick he will bounce off those ropes with either a huge left hook or that right uppercut he throws so well. and stop Kirkland right then and there.

This fight wont get made for a while. Kirkland could have a following if built up correctly from here on out and they are both under GBP so it makes business sense to prolongue it. Lara fight has a better chance of being made since he has that reputation now an really if he wins he uses that reputation and takes it to the next level or if he loses then Canelo just fought the most avoided 154 pounder(since he tends to call everyone out ala PW) and gets even more cred.
