    Getting ahead of themselves aren't they? They'll have to scrap those plans for Saunders-Alvarez 2.

    I'd be more interested in a Plant fight than the Saunders fight. I think BJS is past his freshness date and Canelo knows it

    No, ergo he cannot pull off the upset because you need to score a KO to get the win against Clen

    Won't be seeing Benavidez/Plant before then I'm sure, and probably won't see it after as Plant rebuilds.

    That's too bad, could have been a good matchup.

    Why would he, Benavidez was in a great position last year but it was his team that wanted to stall the Plant unification and his team stopped the Charlo fight from happening. Before Charlo vs Derevyanchenko PBC was trying to make Charlo vs Benavidez for the 168 WBC title but his handlers said he wasn’t ready. Now he’s lost his belt he wants to push for the Plant and Charlo fights when it’s does nothing for either guy at the moment.

    Great, so he's just gonna start feasting on the US versions of Callum Smith/Liam Neison/ Rocky Fielding now?

    It's obvious he wants no part of the Charlos, he is heading towards GGG territory with his choice of opponents as of late.

    I'm officially off the Alvarez bandwagon, his schtick has gotten old and it's obvious he only willing to mix it up with certain types of fighters

    I guess Saunders will have about as much chance as Trout did when the Floyd fight was signed in advance.

    This is the fight that Ive been wanting for awhile now and Plant is the guy I think/thought posed the best challenge for Canelo.

    I hope the fight comes off and will be in my top 3 most anticipated fights of the year if it comes off.

    That being said...

    Does anyone not think it just a tad odd that Canelo doesnt target the Charlos at all? (to my knowledge at least... if Im wrong correct me)

    Seems like obvious fights to make yet always seems like it everyone but them being considered.

    Not complaining... I rate Plant above both Charlos. Im just curious.
