Ah yes the good ole Canelo tactic, wait JUST long enough to fight people to 100% confirm a win

This may just be me, but Canelo absolutely batters Plant, BJS is BARELY the tougher matchup for him, and that's because he's awkward. After Clen figures BJS out/he gets tired after the 3rd round it'll be smooth sailing

I have no appetite for this fight to be quite honest.

Funny, everyone said the same thing but Smith
'oh he's the one guy at 68 to beat Canelo'
I used to like canelo but he's been picking lame fighters as of late he can't fight when the going gets tough.
He's obviously ducking the Charlos at this point

I didnt say that about Smith. I thought it was an ok fight given the options but never considered Smith a big threat. And I have my doubts that a lot of people thought that. But even if they did, I dont really care what other people say or said. Lots of people talk a lot but dont understand boxing very well.

Plants not a lame fight at all to me. Hed beat both Charlos head to head and represents a more difficult matchup stylistically with Canelo, in my meaningless opinion.

    Im up for this fight.

Only downside is Plants lack of power.

I'm not accusing him of cherry picking, merely that I think Saunders is going to beat him and it's presumptuous to already start scheduling a match with Plant.

lol dude didn’t one of the Charlo’s get offered the fight last year and they ducked out... I’ll put it for you simple when you not fighting anybody worth a d@mn you just gotta wait your turn and hop you get picked... then again he could always do something like fighting a legit opponent and giving himself a reason to get the fight

He was on the Money Mayweather route with that statement. Now, it's about unifying. Boxers can be so doubleminded lol

Batters Plant? And fries him up? After the tainted meat fiasco, I knew it was a matter of time until Canelo committed to a Plant-based diet.

I kid, but yes, I agree. I think Saunders is a slightly tougher fight for Canelo, but I expect him to win convincingly. I think Canelo does a job on Plant.

Charlo bros don't fight at 168.

Canelo doesn't need to run to anyone.

Why would Canelo go backdown. If Charlo wants it he can move up to 168. Now if Jermall was the cash cow, and Canelo ran out of opponents at 168 then I would demand he either goes back down to 160 to fight Charlo, or move up to 175. But since he's trying to make Mexican and SMW history, I can't blame him. I mean he's 30, he'll clean out 168 no later than 2022, so there is still a lot of time for Charlo to move up, and time for Canelo to unify 175.
