canelo has allot of hype surrounding him, and he seems to have a tough time making 154 and also appears a bit big for the weight why not move up to 160 have a few warm up fights then face GGG at the end of next year.

They have sparred quite a bit.

If GGG continues to become a mega attraction and the money is right I don't see why they wouldn't do it in the future.

Canelo has a fight with Mayweather coming up. That's a tough fight for him. Let's see how he does there first. Golovkin also has a lot of hype surrounding him. He says he'll fight anyone from 154 to 168. Why doesn't he get a few more fights in and fight Ward by the end of next year?

because he cant ko legit guys at 154.

wtf is he going to do when he moves up to guys like quillan, jr and ggg who are going to toy with the 5'7" canelito and push him around like a little boy. faded Rubio will probably beat him.

if you want to see what would happen to canelito if he moved up to 160 and fought a legit contender just youtube both mosley/winky fights and youll have your answer.

in fact, that's probably whats going to happen after he loses to Floyd and then fights vanes, lara, Molina, james or Rosado(who would be the bargain of the year as a +400-500).

canelo really hasn't done much at 154 to show that he could compete at 160.

Canelo is extremely underrated and hated on here. I don't get why though.

Its simple....To discredit mayweather.....if Floyd beats him people can discredit the win and point to how they have always said he was pish...

I think canelo could take ggg...

They spar all the time, would love to see the fight someday.

What I don't get is both have crappy resumes, yet one is respected on here and one isn't. Even though they both destroy their competition.
