Canelo is OK... You guys get caught up but as I mentioned before. Levels to this game and Canelo is not on Cotto's level even at THIS stage in their careers. The only thing Canelo does better than Cotto is weigh more.

Say Canelo KO's Kirkland and Cotto beats Bradley in a lopsided fight this winter, does this fight do over 2 mil on Cinco De Mayo? Floyd would only be able to fight Pac to compete with that

Those very likely scenarios give this thought legitimacy that's for sure. My personal opinion is still no.

the fix is in for the cash cow. why watch the inevitable.

I would rather watch saturday night fights on fox sports. where the outcome is not predetermined

Hell no. 2M buys is very difficult to achieve. 1M would probably the number the promoters would view as the high estimate if Canelo and Cotto fought.

No way #1 Mexican draw vs #1 PR draw on cinco de mayo theres no way the max is 1mil

There's only 2 fights in the history of the sport that have reached 2M buys. Not a lot of fights have reached the 1M buy plateau either. Neither Alvarez or Cotto have proven to be a huge draw as the A side. So I don't see how they can do 2M buys.

    700k if they're lucky.

What other active fighter even came close to 1mil outside of Pac/Floyd?

It's gonna be on the May Pac 1 undercard.

It's been Floyd and Oscars plan all along.

Floyd will announce that the contracts are signed during the World Series and Manny will take the flat 40 mil with the testing so long as he has a rematch clause.

It's fukking brilliant. And while Im not a fan of Floyd, I do like the way he thinks.:good

    And to answer your question.....

It will be the most lopsided KO win we've seen as a co main on a PPV.

Canelo will bulldoze the smaller Cotto and will no longer need big names for big PPVs. Oscar's golden cow.

Pac vs May 2 won't need anyone to sell since Pac KO3 May in fight 1. That one might break the 2.5 mil+++ that the first one does. Even without chief support.:good

In Madison Square Garden it Cotto would be the A side. Anywhere else(but PR)
    Canelo is the A to Cotto's B.

Canelo is the bigger star no doubt but in NY the boos would drown out the cheers.
