I'm not a big fan of either, but I would say Canelo is just as big a draw as Cotto

    Miguel's favorite color is pink.

That's all that really needs to be said.

Is it just me or does Alvarez clearly deserve more than 50%???

His last two PPV's he's headlined on his own have done similar numbers to Cotto's PPV against Mayorga. Canelo's PPV with Mayweather is the highest grossing boxing event in history. While Cotto's PPV with Mayweather was also lucrative it fell far, far short of the numbers Mayweather/Canelo did...

I'd say Alvarez has a poor management team if he is taking less than a ceremonial 49% of the pie...

Basic math: Cotto vs. Mayweather sold less than Alvarez vs. Mayweather by a long shot.

Cotto ain't shiit at drawing PPV (see Cotto vs. Martinez for his true drawing power). His usefulness extends to filling MSG.

If Cotto gets better than 50/50 it's for no reason other than that Alvarez wants his belt/scalp that badly. Cotto simply doesn't deserve it. :deal

Cotto is trying to price himself out because he knows that not only will he lose, he'll probably get severely beaten up.

I thin canelo would beat him in a very one sided matchup.

Cotto is well past his prime and has been matched up perfectly in his last few fights to make it seem like he has a good deal left in the tank. I think Canelo could stop him late since Cotto is more of a come forward type of fighter.canelo is too big for him and his hand speed will probably be a bit too much.

Alvarez is at least as much of a draw as Cotto.

But Miguel is nearing the end and needs to think about $$$.

I don't give him much chance against Canelo, and he can't beat any top five MW.

So his next bout might be his last.

Canelo should win by late TKO.

Also, Canelo shouldn't take less than a 49/51 split.

I don't think Cotto has much left.
