I said all along throughout this whole thing that this fight would just get pushed back a month and happen on the Puerto Rican holiday weekend in New York... Obviously I still stand by that prediction and the only thing surprising is why this solution hasn't been so widely thought of by the masses before now, apparently.

 

Cotto Canelo only happens in Vegas. For a simple reason. The live gate means very little when a fight is PPV. Why some of you are so hung up on NY as a venue makes no sense. This is not the 1950's. NY IS NOT HE MECCA OF BOXING!!!

 

June makes more sense...esp if it is in NY.

I live here IN Vgeas and would love the fight to be here! but honstely i dont care where its at as long as they fight! PLus different venue could he the promo. May-Pac will tkae over all headlines and would still take a whole week or so to take all signs down and change the whole spot to Cotto-Canelo. If in New York promotiong will be up the whole time

He feels Miguels experience will help him get the win .

He also admits many people feel Canelo lost to Erisandy Lara .

Both men are picking Cotto to get the victory .

I was a little surprised when I heard this .

The fight is not even signed yet and I would say about 70% of the boxing world are already predicting Canelo to beat the hell out of Cotto and stop him badly .

Now.. I don't know whether they really feel that's what going to happen or is it wishful thinking because they want revenge for the Martinez beating .

I kinda agree. If the fight happens id put money on Cotto. I think he'll outbox canelo.

 

Cotto outboxing Canelo is a strong possibility .

Yet I have a feeling both fighters are coming in there to take each other OUT .

I don't think either fighter wants this fight to go the distance .
