Thats the only incident where he has been staggered so of course he has a glass chin.

as far as the OP i think its the opposite. If Margo can take Alvarez power then its gonna be a tough fight for Alvarez but that doesnt mean he wont win.
People who keep bringing up the Hatton fight forget Hatton fought a negative fight and made it very hard for Canelo to land flush. Whenever he did catch him he stunned him and Hatton would clinch very well.
I dont know what Margaritos chin will be like now but i think Alvarez has enough power to hurt him regardless. Margarito is no Hatton and he will not be doing a crab like defense turning away from punches. He will be getting hit at will like Baldomir. Actually even worse. Those two opponents are similar and we saw what happened with the rock chinned Baldomir. I know i know he is past it but so is Margo.

 

Margo would shatter that freckled cinnamon ginger jaw.

 

Alvarez by brutal stoppage. Margo stopped being relevant two years ago, he's a good gimme fight for rematches with cotto, cintron or martinez, but aside from that he has no place being discussed in title matchups

 

I still think even now Margarito would stop him.
