So now that this fight has been moved to Showtime non-PPV, what happens to us Aussie fans? Anyone know if Main Event will still pick it up as a PPV? Perhaps Fox Sport will broadcast it? Would be a miracle, but could ONE HD be broadcasting it on free-to-air TV?
Has it happened before (One HD airing fights)? I don't have paytv but there are a couple of reliable pubs in my area and I'm glad in a way this fight is on its own. It will be the making of one of these fighters and deserves top billing.
At one stage they were airing like aussie Thursday night fights but that stopped a little while ago. They also aired two of Vitali Klitchcho's fights live from Germany. And they used to air old boxing fights on A-Z boxing and Johnny Lewis boxing classics. This of course was back in the day when One HD only aired sport so had plenty of time to air non mainstream sports. I'm too much of an optimist I think
:good I try to exhaust all options finding ways to watch it on my nice TV (or a big screen TV in a bar), but I guess sometimes we just have no other options.
