Beterbiev and this fight would never happen as for now. Both fighters are trained by Marc Ramsey in Canada .one would have to leave their current trainer
Id root for Alvarez and he certainly has the skill to UD Beterbiev and the power and accuracy to hurt him but I think slightly higher chance of AB blitzing Alvarez. Alvarez actually hits the canvas in this one and doesnt get up.
i think alvarez upsets beterbiev. hes shown he can box well in past fights, and showed hes very durable against kovalev.
they spar each other a lot. which favours it going to the distance. but, I think alvarez keeps his hands at the side, also same trainer Ramsay says Beterbiev is his best fighter
Alvarez. Beterbiev is strong but doesn't have the jab of Kov and probably walks into that big counter right hand all night. Beterbiev also has a shaky chin, I think Alvarez would hurt him.
Beterbiev's chin is fine, it's just that Callum Johnson hits like a Mack truck. Kovalev was tired, gassed and got hit in the temple with a beautifully timed vicious shot, it happens, but not every time. Just ask Gabe Bracero. Beterbiev's activity would make Alvarez just as apprehensive as he was last night.
They actually share numerous common opponents Alexander Johnson Rayco Saunders Alvaro Enriquez Isidro Ranoni Prieto Beterbiev did much better against all of them WTKO7 Johnson WRTD3 Saunders WTKO1 Alvarez WTKO1 Prieto Now Alvarez's WUD10 Johnson WUD8 Saunders WUD4 Alvarez WUD12 Prieto
