Seems like a fight that has gained more interest after this weekend, figured I'd get a consensus on the match up. Haven't seen all the Williams fight yet just a bit of the highlights, but based off fights I have seen from both I'd give Alvarez a good chance at victory. Jermall's last few showing haven't been that impressive to me especially the struggles with Trout. I think this could be a great matchup for next year but probably won't happen until both are at 160 in the near future. Either way who you got Canelo or Jermall?
Unfortunately it wont happen as long as that law suit is in the works. Whats the deal with that anyway? TR dropped theirs. It seems like a long time sing that suit was brought forward
I think that one could go either way. Before Charlo's KO of Williams I would have said Canelo clearly, but now I only have Canelo as a slight favourite. Both are tough and have good power (Charlo more so imo), but Canelo is a better boxer than Charlo.
Would be an awesome scrap, I'm not a huge fan of either guy but both are excellent fighters and to be honest while Canelo has the exp factor all but locked up in this one Charlo would bring some interesting elements to the fight along with some fast crisp power punches.
Charlo won his fight fair and square but lost a lot of support by acting like a spoiled child when refusing to accept Williams congratulations and apology after the fight. he really acted the ass. the people that were cheering him during the fight soundly booed him after that. What he did was in very bad taste
I could care less about that post fight incident. People aren't perfect it happens. He apologized twice.
Charlo behaved like an ass. Most fighters trash talk in the buildup but its forgotten at the final bell no one will be sad if he gets his ass handed to him next time out
