props to both alvarez (for his surgical boxing and for coming back from getting badly hurt in the 1st, it should have been a knock down the ropes kept him up) and to cotto(for showing up win and for displaying a hell of a jaw)
Canelo Alvarez has all the makings of a future super star and i cant wait to see more of him.
(wouldn't mind seeing him in there against berto).

lol a future superstar and he had a hard time with a jr lightweight that's never been upper class.. he'll have trouble with a real welterweight.. if he had trouble with jose cotto i think miguel cotto can kick his ass

(other) Cotto should learn how to block a right hand punch. this will help him in future fights.

I think Alvarez better get a few more fights under his belt before trying to move forward ! I think he has a lot of potential, especially at his current age.

Manny Pacquiao was around 19 when he suffered his 2nd defeat, i guess he woulda never become a superstar...oh wait...

and you keep saying Canelo was hurt by a jr lightweight blah blah....Your country's current best boxer was battered, busted up and was running like a maricon in the latter parts of the fight against a dude, who around 2 years ago was a *gasp* jr lightweight!
