Another dumb thread and what a surprise. Look if canelo fought maidana it might be a huge mismatch but so what? This is a tune up for canelo to stay ACTIVE! And canelo's ppl want him to fight cotto in may. Gbp wanted canelo vs cotto in december but cotto wouldnt wait for that to happen in which i honestly dont know why but if cotto wins then theres a 80 percent chance cotto vs canelo will happen in may. If thats the case then i dont mind canelo vs maidana. As long as cotto vs canelo happen in may.

 

He totally fits the Canelo opponent profile:
1. Hispanic last name.
2. Started at 140
3. Fought at 140 recently.
4. Now fights at 147.

Using this formula, we can probably predict Canelo's entire career path.

everything correct here other than canelo is closer to 5'7" than 5'9".
josesito is listed at 5'9.5" and there was at least a two-inch difference when canelo wasnt wearing his lifts.

 

Tell gbp that not him. They already have plan for canelo to fight cotto who is a better fighter then all 3 of those fighters u mention. Canelo vs Cotto would be huge. Canelo vs Maidana is nothing more then a tune up fight and for canelo to stay active. I bet you dont know what active means.
