Mayweather fought never in his whole career anyone who has at least half of the quality of Trout, while Canelo played with him like a cat with a mouse. Of course some fanboys gave a lot of rounds to Trout, but the reality looked different. Canelo will break Mayweathers spirit till round 7, when Floyds stamina descend more and more, cause he is not able to hit Canelo. Canelo will conter with power punches and knock Mayweather out in round 9, 10. If not, he wins normally through UD. But that depends on the referees then .. hopefully they will do their job good.
Floyd fights the first time in his life a opponent with a pulse, someone who really lives. He will get a lot of power punches and body shots, more than combined in all his fights together.
I don't think he will win...but it's the fact that he poses the biggest threat by far to Floyd that makes this so exciting. I think Floyd will win a close-ish decision, but I wouldn't be completely shocked if Canelo pulled this off

So you're saying that Floyd hasn't fought any top guys? :huh. But aren't you always hyping up GGG? Who has he fought/beat with a "pulse" then?
Trout is a very good fighter and that was a nice win for Canelo, but Floyd has bigger names on his resume in pretty much every weight division he's fought in. Stamina is an issue Floyd has never dealt with his entire career. His ridiculous sparring sessions where he spars in time limits and not rounds ensure he never tires out on fight night. Canelo's only shot in this fight is if he doesn't feel Mayweather's counterpunching power at all and can walk FLoyd down. It's kind of a catch 22 though because even if he does get Floyd on the ropes, he'll probably get counterpunched to death. Should be a very exciting fight.
