Alvarez wouldn't be easy work for Cotto at all.

Cotto has been fightin at world level for years Canelo hasnt even fought at world level yet, i think Cottos experience will win him this fight he knows when to pick his shots and hes got a decent jab, the jab should win Miguel alot of rounds because Alvarez is so flat footed, Alvarez will probz hurt him a few times before Alvarez gets stopped late

i still think cotto is a bit too seasoned at this point. alvarez wouldnt be easy work for anyone but he can be a bit inactive at times and he can be found. alvarez keeps getting better and better but cotto is still too seasoned.

Saul sure being rated highly for someone who hasn't even been in with a single contender level fighter yet

    Gentleman you guys are correct.

As history has showed us all, Miguel ALWAYS gets underated, he always gets the "passed prime", "sesoned", "blah", "blah". People jumping on Canelo's bandwagon and they have never seen him fight an elite or even a true contender.

What is his biggest victory yet? Mosley? A guy who is really burned and his time passed big time?

I dont care what the bandwanonners say. I got Miguel over Canelo's. I put all my eCash and life time user name and IP address ban!

Miguel is overly UNDERATED, and UNDERESTIMATED! His boxing ability, jab, hook, improved defense, smart presure, able to fight on the back foot, combination, ability to cut the ring and inmense ring IQ are world class....and I must say, dont let him catch you with with your guard down becuase he can put you down very quickly.

Canelo wants come Cotto? Hell yeah! Sign the contract lets do this!

War Cotto! Guerra Miguel! ! !

Canelo is way too easy to hit. I've always thought Cotto was an overrated Top Rank creation, but he's better than Alvarez.

It's a pickem fight against a hard hitting guy, who also shows stamina problems at time like cotto does, a young fighter, vs a fighter with a few years left, a body puncher vs a body puncher, Mexico vs PR, young vs older, It's everything that is good about Boxing, huge event, crazy Build up, competitive, experience vs youth and hunger, its the best of the best... Some say Cotto is easy to hit and lacks defense, same is said about canelo, but both go forward and BaNG... what an event

I really Hope GBP does this, make or break Canelo... High RISK HIGH REWARD.

Alvarez is the naturally bigger and stronger man. He also hasn't been in the wars Cotto has, and he's a lot younger. Cottos experience may keep him in the fight until the end, but I don't think he can win this fight anymore, the younger man may not be as wise yet, but he's got just enough I think to win on his youth and strength alone.
