Alvarez wouldn't last 3 rounds against GGG

I want him to win this Saturday because there's a decent chance he'll fight GGG, but I'm not so sure on this chances against Cotto. Based on the Kirkland fight, Canelo is a cake walk for GGG.

In the Kirkland fight, Canelo started gassing after 2 rounds of high intensity action. He got backed up and laid on the ropes multiple times where Kirkland unloaded with his caveman style.

You can't do that against GGG. You cannot gas after 2 rounds and you cannot stay on the ropes. GGG would put Alvarez on the back foot from the opening bell, but Canelo is not very mobile. That's a perfect target for GGG's uppercuts and body shots.

I can't see Canelo winning in any scenario. GGG is just better at everything.

So what happens if Canelo loses this weekend? There is a good chance considering how good Cotto is.

We know Cotto won't ever fight GGG, but would people even care for a Canelo fight if he loses?

Don't be ridiculous. Canelo has a very solid chin and after round 1 he will be in full defense mode. He has good defense or good offense (just not both, not enough stamina).

his chin won't hold up for 12 rounds against power like that..... and if it does he'll suffer from severe brain damage from all of those hard punches to the head.

No, Canelo may be as durable as Lemieux. 8-9 rounds is a possibility.

Word is that Canelo is having a hard time making weight, we will find out later today.
But I think his days at 155 are over, expect 156-158 range  :yep

They need to make a couple of new weight classes for Ward (172) and Canelo 158

And If they don't make those weight classes for those two then those people are nothing more than haters and racists :good

I would love it, got a feeling he will though but I bet it's been a real struggle.

If he has had a real struggle then advantage Cotto?

They can't afford to miss this weight because if Canelo manages to beat Cotto but comes on over 155 then they really have no excuse not to fight Golovkin for the WBC title.

    It will ruin Canelo's reputation.

He should come at 160, pay penalties, rehydrate to 175 and beat a cr@p out of the midget.

I also suggest Golovkin to do the same: agree (for additional money) on whatever weight they want, then just come at 160 and pay penalties. Catch weights should not be used in title fights.
