Doesn't matter at all really, nobody will care. Non title fights can be at any weight…not a mayweather "title" farce at 152.

A loss really won't matter. For true star attractions losses really don't matter - exhibit A being oscar de la hoya. He sold the biggest fight in history as the A-SIDE with four losses. Canelo is the same deal.

He has better prospects going forward than anyone in boxing right now.

It was Canelo who wanted the fight to be a title because he thought he would walk away with Floyd's belts as some kind of bragging right. Floyd already had a title at the division. Canelo's title was meaningless to Floyd. In fact, Floyd has already said titles don't mean anything.

Two title holders fighting to unify….at a catchweight… just some sad bul****. Especially since he's fought at the full limit TWICE before.

and LOL at titles don't mean anything…but I have to fight Guerrero cause he's my mandatory! I won't fight Margarito…I MUST FIGHT Baldomir cause he's the lineal!!

    Spare me bro

As I said titles don't mean anything. Floyd made the Top 20 list whereas a fighter with FOTD and lilliputian titles didn't. ABC titles are for chumps not champs.

That chump has justified many bum ass fights over titles…Exhibits A and B - Baldomir and Guererro.

    WTF?

Baldomir was the *legitimate* champ @ 147 when Mayweather fought him. That was anything but a "bum ass" fight...

Clottey, Kirkland, Andrade, Molina, Lee, Maciel, Rosado are all possibilities for this and next years schedule.

I think GBP will try and claim the Jr. MW belt before moving up. I know that the reason Canelo had 5 or so consecutive 150 pound catchweight fights was to see if they could get him a WW belt before moving up.

 And he blames Leonard Ellerbe for that and even said that he was not happy with the situation.

Alvarez will not fight Golovkin. I do not enjoy watching Alvarez fight, he can fight some, but not a real champion..................

And then proceeded to do absolutely nothing for the last three rounds and let Cotto Sneak by with the win.

Thats always been my problem with Clottey, Great potential as a fighter but never finishes strong or closes out the deal. I had him winning the fight after the 9th round (and Im a huge Cotto fan) but there is no possible way that Clottey did enough to win the last three rounds.
