I agree with most of that, however I think the Diaz knockdown was more owing to Khan being drained getting down to 143lbs.
OK...maybe so. But, should we also rule out the DSG KO at 140 due to being drained? We haven't seen him in with a big puncher since DSG. So, we don't really know if moving up helped him take a better punch. Diaz may just punch harder than any of his last opponents, since they fought. Thing is it's not just the head shots that will hurt him. Canelo punches hard to the body too. I am sure he will be aiming for the body a lot, to slow Khan down. That is not to say Canelo is some monster puncher. But, he hits more than hard enough to break someone down who is coming up in weight. Khan is talented. But, unless he boxes the fight of his life...it's curtains.
Im fine. Khan will struggle to keep Canelo off at all and I cant even see him winning the first couple of rounds like he did against Garcia, Think Canelo will pretty much walk through his shots and catch him at will, its just about how long Amir can "survive" in my opinion
You two are actually agreeing on something? Never thought I'd see the day. Maybe you should meet in Chelmsford for a beer.
This. IF khan boxes punch perfect..he might win. But I cant see if - look at the Maidana fight.. boxing brilliantly in parts he tires gets caught and just manages to not get sparked out. Alzarez is bigger than Maidana and I think Khan will feel the shots more. I can see Khan winning rounds early but Alvarez winning the fight and it being over mid to late rounds TKO around 7-8
