Cannot believe anybody is actually taking this fight seriously.

Canelo isn't a murderous puncher, but this ends ugly imo.

 

I can see Khan looking sharp early getting his shots off staying away, but as soon as Canelo starts getting his timing down and finding range... he'll put him away.

I get what some people are saying that Khan has the speed to stay out the way like Mayweather did, pick his shots and move.. look to shoe shine his way to a points win.

But he doesn't have the boxing brain Mayweather has, also when he gets back up to the ropes - which he will - he doesn't show angles he's often square on, which could be his downfall.

 

Absolutely. Amir will look great for as long as he can stay on his bike but as soon as he is cornered this will be a nightmare. Getting stopped badly in the first couple of minutes wouldn't surprise me at all yet jab and grab might do the trick for quite a while! Absolutely terrible fight to take. Really hope he can pull off something outrageous though.

 

Half this thread seems to have been deleted. Prob for the best. I think Khan will do his best to still rounds and can't see plodding Canelo catching up to up before the eighth. When he does, that'll be the end of that.

Khan might have the super universal jab.. some say the flash is the best simply because he has the most speed in the power equation.. the speed force allows him to have a human mass whilst throwing the punch but at the same time not destroying his hand..

 

Agree with most of comments above. Think Khan will look great in the early rounds but Canelo will get to him between 6 and 8.

I'm not sure he can maintain the same level of energy and movement at the weight. Hope he can.

 

I worry for Khan I really don't want him to have to take some of the punches that put Kirkland away for example.
He will start fast and Canelo isn't fantastic at cutting opponents off so he should be able to outbox him for a few rounds but it will only be a matter of time before he times Amir with something bad and puts him away.

 

Khan vs. Canelo at welter only had one winner.. I don't see the difference in the 2 fights..
