    If this is right it just shows how smart he was - and how deliberate it was too - when he decided to employ weapons other than his fists....

    Yes he was deducted 2 points in Ruiz II. When he knocked out Johnny Ruiz to the body, and Ruiz acted like it was low blow (while it wasn't). Don King's pocket referee Joe Cortez immediately took 2 points off Holy instead of countiong out Johnny.

    Good man

    To be honest I've only watched the Holyfield vs Ruiz fights once each because I hate Ruiz he bores the brain off me but I might watch the second fight back now just to see the point deduction

    Do you know what round it occurred in as I don't want to watch the entire fight again

    Also I hate joe Cortez he is scum personified

    Yea those fights were garbage they only happened because Lewis refused to fight his mandatory

    Yes Holy could've been penaltized in many fights and Ruiz 2 was the one where he shouldn't have :)

    Same with Lennox. He used to break the rules and wasn't penaltized, but when he knocked Tyson down in round 4, Eddie Cotton took a point off him.

    Maybe it's karma :)
