Done watching the first 2 of Froch Kessler and I jsut have it 20-20 after 2 I mean its a judges nightmare a jabbing match where neither mans jab has the upper hand or is creating an advantage they go punch for punch when they let go a power shot Froch definitely lands harder but kessler always comes back with a few more Am I wrong making these 2 even? Do you guys justify 1-1 or 2-0 either way?
Just scored 3 and it was so hard to give it to somebody. They literally went jab for jab. And when a guy landed a power blow the other responded right back. had it even then Froch landed a few unanswered power blows with 30 or 20 left I think Froch is susceptible to a left hook fighter or a southpaw Kessler landed 2 or 3 eye catching left hooks so far didnt Dirrel stun him with a straight left from a southpaw stance in that 10th round
5th to Froch the most obvious round of the fight as he gets inside the jab and bombs in with the left ho0k and right hand Kessler lands an uppercut or 2 and an overhand right but no way enough he was also wobbled 2 times and looked hurt during the slip
though had you had it 2-0 Kessler in the 1st 2 its a 3-2 fight and close if you gave 1 and 2 to Froch its a 6-0 shut out either is justifiable I guess
To me the only obvious round is 5 for Froch 4 Froch lands 2 big rights but the rest of the action is very even
i don't care to re-score those rounds. but to answer your question, no you're not crazy. more rounds in boxing should be scored evenly. if neither fighter out performs the other, no one should win.
X 2 Completely agree. If no one clearly won the round, then it's even. I probably score a round even once every third fight.
i have started a blog this week on judging fights http://boxingscorecard.blogspot.com/ i think i will put this fight on it next week if i can find it online , it was a very hard fight to judge and watching it on a stream was even harder lol. after the super 6 i hope there is a rematch as this week kessler has said hes coming back
