I will be spending time with my ladyfriend. She lives in another country. I want to do stuff when I'm not with her, so I decided to learn boxing.

Before I book my flight, I want to make sure that I have all the important stuff to do boxing.

This is what I have right now:
    - 16 oz boxing gloves (for sparring)
    - XL boxing gloves (for bags)
    - 12 oz boxing gloves (just in case)
    - 10 oz boxing gloves (just in case)
    - Helmet
    - Jock
    - Compression shorts
    - Hand wraps
    - Running shoes
    - Boxing shoes
    - Mouth guard
    - Skipping rope
    - Things to help absorb moisture and deodorize gloves

I want to do more in life than just watch television and run.

My dentist said I should get a pressure laminated mouth guard, so I did.

I read that you should have one pair of gloves for bags, and another pair of gloves for sparring. I don't know what gym I will be joining, but I also read that some gyms want you to use lighter gloves for bags and/or sparring. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

    Thank you, though.
