Really? And who are these "trained experts" you speak of, your tutors that are trained to teach you the bull**** in the manuals? The papers you're learning from are very basic and the methods are out dated.

No. You read articles by actual professionals in strength and conditioning, nutrition, powerlifting etc.

    Chad Waterbury
    Joe Defranco
    Charles poliquin
    Louie Simmons
    Jim Wendler
    Mark Rippetoe
    Eric Cressey
    Dan John

    To name a few.

And you know this how? I mean I went through a program "Stripped Down Hypertrophy" which has you training all muscle groups 5 days a week for 3 weeks straight. I gained weight and got stronger.

Explain how this is possible please.

Wow. I try to help you from my own experience so I'm a prat?

Good luck in your career, mate. Hopefully you'll learn sooner rather than later.

I doubt it. Having an open mind is important when it comes to exercise and fitness. A hell of a lot is based on personal opinion and experience, of which I have plenty of years.

You carry on basing your basic knowledge on your out of date CYQ manual.

    Again, good luck. :good

  6. I take it your training them with different intesitys and goals, rather than mullering each muscle group the same way every day though right?

I'm guessing you're referring to body building, smash a single muscle group a day with the "mullering" comment. I've never done that and probably never will.

I'm saying it's possible to build muscle and strength by training daily if you do it correctly. I've used Olympic lifters a few times to prove this point, some train twice a day 5-6 days a week and get stronger.

Do you honestly think we as human beings would be as advanced as we are today if we could only move some heavy things once a day then we have to rest at least 48 hours to recover. Come on.

Those guys are some of the best coaches in the world.

Try researching who those guys are before you make a fool of yourself again....

It's clear you're clueless from the fact you're quoting your CYQ manual as a source. :patsch

  9. Not questioning btw you just trying to understand, does this not put alot of unwanted stress on your CNS though?

I'm using their results, workouts and clients to assess whether they are worth listening to.

Joe Defranco is probably the best in the world. He trains players from every NFL team, boxers, professional MMA fighters, Olympic contenders, rugby players, martial artists and hundreds of other clients from many, many other sports. All are in incredible shape and getting better. I've also done many of the programs he's designed and bought some of his DVD's.

I say Joe Defranco is one of the best sources available from personal experience. Same with the other guys in that list.

But like I said you're clueless and wouldn't know any of that. Why someone as clueless as yourself is attempting to tell me I'm wrong and insulting me when I'm actually trying to help you I don't know.

Unwanted stress? Yes. But that's what you want, that's when you force your body to adapt. It'll put your CNS under more stress, but the point is to push it to the limit then work at that limit. That limit you find with experience.

Everyone seems to limit themselves because of what they've read in bodybuilding magazines. Your body is capable of a hell of a lot more than you give it credit for.

I like the way you think that I think I'm an expert because I told you you're wrong on something so basic. Like I've said a few times, I was trying to help you.

You won't get far with your attitude, I can guarantee you that.

  13. So Virus sorry to harp on, even in terms of growth and muscle building your saying we can work a muscle group more than once a week and this will still be beneficial, i keep asking because although i know its best to just get on and try these things, i do try and learn but different info from different sources etc leaves me confused

To be honest you are talking bull****. Why do you think your body requires so much time to rest? Our body adapts to what it needs to adapt too, if you work your muscles everyday what do you think your body will do? Adapt or breakdown...........
