Well there are people on ESB that think it could be possible, but PICKING B-Hop by KO... yeah you could be alone on that one.

 

not happening. when Hopkins dropped Calzaghe in the 1st round joe got up hurt but hopkins did not even try to finish him off. he went back to fighting cautiously, trying to steal rounds and ***** about the low blows. I had money on him to beat Joe and was pissed that he didnt do more to win the fight. If he fights the same way against Pavlik then Pavlik should win on work rate alone if not by knock out.

 

B-Hop is not gonna hurt Kelly. Come the **** on, peeps. Hopkins has never rilly been a damager against fighters with happenin' chins save Oscar and Tito. Oscar got caught with a nasty liver shot and Tito just plain got his ass whipped. And Tito didn't get stopped until the last round. Not tryin' to take away form Hopkins and his great acheivements, but Pavlik is one of those exceptional chins. Look at the way he came back from the head-rattle Taylor gave him in their first fight. I honestly feel B-Hop's incapable at this point at such a duplication.

 

Pavlik's chin is far from exceptional, though he has a ton of heart and recovers well.

 

Naw man, I'm with you. It will be by a couple of big rights that soften Pav up, a hard left hook and a big right to go.

 

You were'nt impressed with his resiliency in Pavlik/Taylor 1? His may not be quite a Gatti Chin but a ****in' great one nonetheless. Very few would've recovered and pers'ed after such a taggin'. Come on, Dude-give up the props.

Pavlik is a tough guy, hard to see Hopkins putting him away. This fight has 12 rounds written all over it.

I think Pavlik is in for a surprise. Hopkins is a clever *******.

But again. If the fight goes 12 Pavlik will win. If the fight doesnt go 12 - Hopkins will win.
