Am I the only one here who agrees with 117-111?

Only judge who had it right. That 115-113 card for Paulie was shameful.

Yes indeed, that was homecooking all along. And I had it 117-111, too (despite not scoring every round like Schreck).

LOL -- Broner kicked Paulie's ass in round 5. Watch it again. :deal

It was 3-2 Paulie after the 5th round. He didn't win a round after the 4th. 117-111 Broner. That scorecard had at least 2/3 judges scoring the same in all 12 rounds. Just FYI.

Broner won the 2nd, 3rd and 5th on my scorecard, sorry. And two judges gave Broner the 5th.

Seriously, this notion that Broner even came close to losing round 5 is baffling to me. Malignaggi got rocked in round 5 and landed nothing of significance on Broner.

I am really starting to think that there's a significant portion of the boxing fan community who just sees fights the way they want to see them regardless of how the fight actually went down. I know stats aren't everything, but it's hard to look at the compubox numbers and come away with any conclusion other than Malignaggi getting his ass kicked. It was even harder to watch the actual fight and come to any conclusion but that one. Paulie threw more punches in every round except the 11th and only landed more in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 10th (he outlanded Broner 22-21 in the 5th and 23-22 in the 10th). In the 5th round Paulie got out power punched 16-12, and there's ZERO doubt who's shots had more affect. In terms of power punches Paulie only outlanded Broner in round one despite throwing more than Broner in half of the rounds. Broners +- rating for this fight was +22! On what planet is a fighter with a +22 rating in a fight, +26 when it comes to power shots, the loser?

And Malignaggi wasn't hitting at all. So I have the same right you have to give rounds to Malignaggi, because if Broner wasn't swinging then, why was Malignaggi clowning that much when he started to get hit by Broner from the 3rd round onwards?

I thought the problem won but I give Paulie credit for giving a spirited effort. although he threw a lot of punches, Adrien blocked and he just wasn't connecting enough.

    but I guess it's how's you judge a fight...

Paulie won rds 1, 2 & the 4th. 3 & 5 were Adriens.. and after that AB controlled the bout but Paulie had his spots, but clearly he lost and he didn't have an issue because he knew he lost.
