Am I the only one here who thinks Gamboa/JuanMa will a pick 'em fight?

I give Juanma a punchers chance no more than that.

 

i think both of them have a good chance but i do give a slight edge to gamboa

 

Because most people ride bandwagons.

Go back to early 2009 and JuanMa was supposed to kill Gamboa inside a round.

Fast forward to early 2010 and now Gamboa KO's JuanMa easily.

Bandwagons.

 

nope, ive got it as a toss up as well. both are equally as talented, equally as powerful, but gamboa has the edge in overall athleticism.

 

I've got Gamboa winning this fight but it's definitely not going to be a "walk in the park" for him.

It's just a perfect fight because they're both the best fighter the other has faced. How will Gamboa handle JuanMa's power? How will JuanMa cope with Gamboa's blazing hand speed? Who's chin can hold up for 12 rounds? Does Gamboa go counter puncher (ala Rojas fight) and play it smart? Does JuanMa Lopez have the cardio to keep up?

If there was one fight to start a big Cuba vs P.R. boxing rivalry, this bad boy is it.

I think Gamboa will take it, unless he does something very stupid, but it should be a very very tight interesting bout.

Late stoppage or 12 rd decision for Gamboa but who knows, this IS boxing after all!
