...who thinks it was a mistake for Arreola to take on Vitali at this stage of his career? He probably should have gone up against a few former champions before fighting for a title. While I think Chris could have lasted 2 more rounds, this stoppage just might have saved his career.

    After the fact? No

Before the fact? No, but more than most people.

He's ranked #1. The HW division is a joke. Klit-fans need to deal with it. Neither bro are top 15 HW and Vitali win over Arreola is probably his best win on his resume. Says a lot about the division.

No. Hopefully the man learned something tonight and I think he'll be better because of it.

I would like to have seen this Vitali against Lennox of 2002!

Nahhhh, Arreola has a fairly basic setup and a finite amount of talent. I think he just does his thing and he had to hope it was good enough. He'd fought enough bums and soft opponents, there could have probably been a better progression, McCall to Klitschko is a big leap, but at the same time nobody replicates what Klitschko does so I don't know how much difference it makes.

I doubt if Arreola will improve too much, he could move his head a little more, get a little weight off for more speed, but essentially he's going to be the same fighter in the future. Against most opponents he'll be well in the fight.
