Am I the only one in the Classic Section who believes Mosley will school Mayweather?

He could not "school" the washed up Mayorga, Collazo or the chinney fade away as the fight progresses Cotto but he (even older now lol) is going to school Mayweather ?

I am convinced that FMJ will make Mosley look very, very old................plus Mosley is a sucker for the straight right or a jab, Mayweathers money punches.........

Don't be fooled by the Margerito fight, that dude was/is nothing but a hyped up Middleweight clubfighter boiling down to 147 to have a size/strengh advantage. At his natural weight he would get ko'ed left and right. LOl, could you imagine him against Pavlik.......I rest my case.

    He did school Collazo.

Mayorga weighed 170 and was far too big for Shane when they fought, and Mayorga always ran hot and cold. Against Shane, that was the best Mayorga we had seen since he lost interest after the somewhat controversial loss to Spinks.

The Cotto fight is the most worriesome for my argument.

I'll spell out my reasons in full for believing Shane will dominate in the coming days, but for now--I will simply state that Shane fought a stupid fight with Cotto and that Jack Mosley was nothing short of awful in the corner that night.

My reasons for believing Shane will dominate Mayweather has nothing to do with the Margo fight (barring the addition of Naz Richardson in his corner).

Again, I don't want to get into my reasons too much right now. They will be written in full in the coming days.

I think Mosley will win, probably not dominantly, though.

the more I watch the build up footage of this fight, the more I believe in Mosley.

Regardless what I see in then ext coming weeks, Mosley will remain the under dog. However watching him train, seeing his attitude and temperament makes me a believer that he can pull the upset.

I've said a couple of different times on here that I think it will all come down to how Floyd fights.

If he sticks to the style he's been using since at least since he moved up from lightweight, of staying in the pocket just out of reach, countering, moving a few steps, then resetting to do it again, it's a 50-50 fight. Shane's hands are fast enough to hit him sometimes if he does that, Shane will probably be able to outwork Floyd, bully him, impress the judges, and Shane will not ever be stopped by potshots and one counter at a time.

Now if Floyd reverts back to his old style and uses his legs, moves around the ring constantly, and puts his smarts to full use, it's no contest. With Shane's steadily decreasing footwork, I highly doubt he will be able to catch up to Floyd, plant his feet, and get good shots off at Floyd. And I'm almost sure he won't be able to do it often enough. Floyd will counter him, make him look slow, dodge and deflect the punches Shane does get off all day long.

If Floyd is able or willing to use that style, he should, it's his best chance of making an easy night of it. Personally, I hope he won't and tries to fight Shane close up. It's both the best chance for a real fight, and to see Floyd and his fans shut up. No matter what, as a Shane fan since his days on Tuesday Night Fights, I'll be rooting hard for Sugar.

I think Mosley may have been flattered by the result against Margarito who is there to be hit,Shane was out boxed at times by Cotto.Mayweather takes this imo, though it will be competitive.
This fight has come a little too late for Mosley, and his inactivity will not be a help either.

If you consult the Paul Williams fans, Margarito would beat Pavlik.

I think Mosley will have his moments but Mayweather will win a UD.

I can see it being competitive for 6 or so rounds but I really don't see Mosley winning...I'll be routing for him though.

Having Nazim in his corner will help him out a lot, but I just can't see how he's going to win....

I would love to see it but I feel Floyd out speeds him after the fourth round and wins in a Charles/Louis style decision ... I don't gage Shange by KOing Margarito and Vargas ... completely different fights ... I remember how he couldn't pull the trigger two years ago v.s. Cotto and now at 38 with 18 months of inactivity I don't see him catching Floyd ..
