Am I the only one in the Classic Section who believes Mosley will school Mayweather?

The only chance Mosley has aside froma lucky punch is to drive mayweather to the ropes with a jab and combinations to the head and body. He needs to pick his shots, hitting whatever target is available. He needs to fight at mid/close range because he isnt hitting Floyd from a distance. He needs to take Floyds body, not easy with the body attack and follow with combinations. Random flurrying won't get the job done

He needs to rabit punch and kidney punch when Floyd turns his back, then hit him with the left to the body or head when he complains. I cant understand why no one employs smart rear attacks, ok they're illegal. He also needs to push/wrestle Floyd into positions he can hit him because Floyds balance and defense will allow him to outmanouver Shane otherwise

The whole time hes doing this hes going to be countered, he just needs a high hard hittin effective output in a street fight because hes not winning a boxing contest

Shanes more likely to fight at range and get schooled though

I think Shane will win a close and controversial split decision that will have Mayweather claiming he was robbed and therefore undefeated still in his own mind.

Intangibles in this fight is Shane's age and long lay-off . He showed rust vs Mayorga and looked better vs Margarita. I think a prime Shane beats Floyd. Can the old version pull it out, well he is going to have to rough him up. I think Shane's speed and power can be a problem for Floyd but Shane must impose his will, pace and fight.

I love Shane, but I think he has little chance in this fight. His determination is unfortunately only going to make Mayweather look even more spectacular when he stops him late.

My pick is Mayweather by close but clear decision.

Obviously Mosely could win but Floyd is deservedly the favourite.

I like Floyd alot...it was against a smaller man, but his performance with Marquez really opened my eyes. I think Floyd will try to keep his lead foot near Mosely's somewhat taking Mosely's right out of the equation. Floyd's defensive reactions are sharper, reflexes are better, he will make contact and sharp pivots will get him out of the line of fire when Mosely tries to use combinations...It will look like Floyd will have openings, but when Mosely tries to follow up, floyd will be gone.
I like Floyd by wide decision.

I'd favour Mayweather, although I really hope Mosley wins.

Moseley is 40 years old and he's been out of the ring for way too long. I really think that the only thing that will make it competitive is Floyd's unwillingness to commit. It'll look closer than it is and again we'll feel that Floyd had more in the tank.

People are getting carried away by the names. Shane is finished at this level and has been for some time. Floyd wouldn't take the fight otherwise.

This fight is about Floyd wanting the bigger share against Pac. Pac's opposition of late has been too good for Mayweather to claim the lion's share. He's found a name that's bigger in reputation than it is on physical traits: perfect matchmaking.

In this one, it's all about the feet.

It does **** all for Floyd's legacy. It's a fight thats been picked for stylistic reasons (as usual)

I'll be rooting for Shane, but don't be surprised to see 3 cards of 117-111 (Shane winning the 1st 3 rnds as Floyd makes the necessary adjustments)

I'd love to see Mosely win.

Unfortunately I don't see it happening. I see Mayweather being able to pick and choose. Both fighters are going to be very motivated, for different reasons.

To be fair Cotto is a completely different fighter to Mayweather. Cotto also happens to be a very underrated boxer with a great jab. I think Shane might be improving technically since he hooked up with Nazim.

I still heavily favor Floyd in the fight though. I just can't see Shane getting anything done on the outside. He's going to have to fight an aggressive fight. But I could be wrong (I hope I am).

At this point he's probably too old and passed his prime to beat Floyd - and stylistically Floyd would probably always give him trouble.

Going overboard with the some of the hyperbole against Shane and in some sense Floyd in this thread.

Even though Mosley has trouble with boxers. Don't some people think he has a better chance potentially because of some of the attributes he has than Oscar (Speed, power, and combinations). And with Naz in his corner does he seemed more rejuvenated? Even though he lacks that the needed jab, does anyone think his jab was at least more frequent and even harder in his previous fight against Margarito than before? Is Mosley not better with Naz. Does he just age in this fight, or will his inactivity be his doom.
