Is Brook a good fighter? Yes, but his best win was over Shawn Porter. Before and since that fight, he hasn't fought anyone world class. Don't understand why the hype is growing

No, and while there's some people saying he's one of the top welterweights around I think most understand he's been extremely protected and needs to make that next step up. Khan, Bradley and even Marquez would destroy Brook as far as I'm concerned but watch them put him in with Pablo Cesar Cano next and say that it's a huge test and that Brook will fight anyone.

    I havn't jumped on it.

His best performance to date was against Porter...
His best opponent to date was Porter...

Waiting for Brook, Bradley, Thurman & Khan to fight one another...Forget May & Pac.

Bradley is the only one who has took the step above...but that was against old man Marquez...

Pre-porter I don't think anybody could have known he would pull off such a good fight. He was on point. Looked world class. How much of Porters bumrush style played into it? we'll find out.

His best opponent wasn't Porter not was it his best performance.

People need to realise just because Porter has been on HBO or Showtime and beat a couple of domestic level Americans doesn't make him special

So porter wasn't his best opponent?

and it wasn't his best performance?

Would you like to throw out some examples of what were then?

If Floyd rejects Khan at the end of the year then Khan is forced to fight either: Thurman, Brook or Bradley.

otherwise he will be officially inducted into the cherry picking squad.

Imagine if Floyd rejects him then Khan cherry picks again to preserve himself in hope for Pacquiao 2016 :rofl. I would no longer be a fan...that would be too much.

Nah, I'm not sold on him yet. I mean, his biggest win was Porter and that was a hugfest. It's evident he has skills but like the great American philosophers PE once said: Don't believe the hype.

Khan is just throwing his weight around acting the big shot...Problem is that weight is dropping off fast and he could screw himself.

Hes been ducking brook for a while now because he knows its a fairly risky fight that would ruin his chance at Mayweather should he lose

If he doesn't get Mayweather, I expect that he'll fight Brook next

Well, he is currently the only genuine welterweight world champion.. That might explain why the hype is growing!

There is MORE hype for Thurman, who, whilst talented has proved less in my opinion.

Both are clearly talented, but had Khan not bottled the Brook fight and Kell had won, then he would have had Porter AND Khan on his resume. Which would have been decent going thus far.

Assuming that Floyd and Pacquiao retire very soon, then Brook, Thurman, Bradley are clearly tbe best at 147. Boxing politics may keep them apart for a while, but they will undoubtedly fight each other within the next year or so.
