Am I the only one that feels Alexander is a very boring fighter?

    I think people forget before the knockout how boring the Urango fight was. Urango, a fighter that is usually entertaining, had a boring fight. 8 rounds of watching Devon circling, yelling while his jab is hitting air. He gets a knockout & the previous rounds are forgotten.

    The Kotelnik fight was interesting, just based on watching him lose the fight & wondering how the refs would score it.

    He has a fight with Bradley, who is usually a entertaining fighter. Boring fight

    This is a reason Maidana has the be his next opponent. With Maidana, atleast we know something is gonna happen. I'm not interested in Alexander against any of the other top guys, because he will make it a bad fight. I guess it's the Kevin Cunningham Way.

    Alexander is a boring fighter, no doubt. Maidana has already came out and ripped his performance, saying he ran, didn't want to fight and that he'd never meet him (Maidana) in the ring. Khan has also said Maidana would walk right through him if they ever fought.

    I disagree. I think Alexander will beat Maidana.

    Alexander I seen him fight 3 times only
    But he does not beat Khan
    and he is not ready for Maidana
    ALexander needs to go back get some bs fights and just learn how to be a man

    No, you're not alone. Bradley was trying to make it a fight but Alexander was stinking the place up. Everytime Bradley got close Alexander tied up. A Maidana/Alexander fight makes sense because both lost and it was kinda expected that the winners fight each other(Bradley/Khan) and the losers fight each other(Maidana/Alexander). Maidana would kill Devon now but as sadistic as this may sound, I wouldn't mind seeing that fight. If it's not Judah(assuming he wins) or Maidana then I'm not interested in seeing Alexander's next fight.

    Alexander will NOT fight Maidana, that you can be sure of. He'll take a couple of rebuild fights now I think.

    Yes he is indeed very boring, this is a reason why I had no high expectations for this fight. Alexander has impressed me with exactly 1 punch that beautiful counter uppercut on Urango. Aside from that he cant hit water if it fell out a boat. The kid has no placement and horrible timing. All you seen in a Alexander fight is him missing a 5 punch combo while screaming.

    ; pitty pat, circle, jab at air , repeat.....holding Bradley ....he is to blame soley for stinking out the joint....Alexander refused to mix it up with Bradley then quit.

    He's not my cuppa tea. If he was to commit to his punches more and be more willing to fight fire with fire instead of clouds of dust I'd have more respect for him as a fighter. Bitching out againsed Bradley has completely turned me againsed him.

    Count me in. What's worst than a boring fighter with no heart? He was hyped up that much because of his O but now its gone he needs to fight Maidana or Judah or just retire.

    His contract with HBO stipulates that he has to be paid over a million USD in his next fight, the only fighter that could draw enough and cover the expenses for HBO, besides Khan in the UK, and Judah in NYC, is Ortiz in LA or Vegas.
