I think its funny though. Win lose or draw Hopkins always makes people question his opponents skills because he's so effective at making them look ordinary.

just look at his last few opponents:

Taylor was the air apparent and one of the most talented up and coming fighters in the game.....fights Hopkins, squeaks out two razor thin descisions and all of a sudden he's a fraud.

Antonio Tarver the light heaveywieght king, gets left speechless after getting brutally donminated.

Winky Wright p4p top 5, got beat even though he started as a 2-1 favourite or something.

Joe Calzaghe, p4p # 3 guy in boxing....made to look like ****. Imbarassed in the first round. And then made to look awkward while winning a clear descision.

Real boxing fans should see things for what they are now that the fight has happened. Fighting Hopkins is going to make you look bad and Joe did pretty good considering that win or lose hopkins has walked away with at least a moral victory from each of his last four fights against guys that were all top p4p fighters and were all supposed to woop his ass.

I thought it was a great effort by both. Hopkins frustrated the heck out of me but you gotta respect the old man for being able to confused joe that much. I had Hopkins winning early and knew Joe would win later on when hopkins tires out and he isnt as sharp. Not a great fight to see over again but one of those fights that was veyr exciting to watch first time live.
