Am I the only one that thinks Hatton doesn't want to fight Floyd?

He very specifically did not ask for a fight with Floyd. He just took a potshot at his lack of entertainment value, while the question that was asked was about a potential fight.

    I wouldn't either, if I were him.

The money won't be stellar since Floyd can't fill up a barn, and Hatton is probably going to lose. If he thinks he can win he should make some bold claims and sell/promote the fight.

I don't think this fight will be made, and I don't think Mayweather will be the sole culprit. I don't think it's the case here that Floyd is 'ducking' Ricky.

    Anyway, my two cents.

Hatton has had several chances to fight PBF and it doesnt look like he has any interest at all.

He had his chance again last night to make it clear if he wanted to face PBF, but he beat around the bush.

That incompetant **** Max Kellerman didnt follow up and ask Hatton point blank "Would you like to fight PBF next fight and at what weight?" Its that simple of a question to ask but that idiot Kellerman couldnt handle it. In fact he didnt as Hatton anything about what future opponents Hatton wanted to face, thats practically standard procedures to ask about up coming fights!

Larry Merchant would have done a much better job and had the common sense to ask Hatton directly if and when he wants to face Mayweather.

Yes I think you're the only one.
Mayweather vs Hatton has the potential for one of the biggest PPV of all time.
It has everything to offer for a fight fan
    USA vs Europe
    Arrogance vs Humbleness
Black vs White (Sorry but that's a selling point for some)
Of course they want to fight each other it's business.
    Big business.

Bad business. Both can make comparable numbers fighting less risky opposition. Also, Hatton's market-value would drop heavily if he were to lose in embarrassing fashion.

I would say (before the Castillo fight)... Hatton doesnt want floyd "yet" but maybe that was the confidence booster he needed to call out floyd and make this match-up.

I reckon if a hoya rematch doesn't happen Floyd will want to make a fight with Hatton. It would be the perfect way to end his career...Floyds all wrong for Hatton .. too much of a good counter puncher....it would end up like calzaghe lacy but not as one sided

Hatton don't want it with Floyd and neither do Hattons people.. They know for sure he'll lose and most likley looking horrible in the process. Hatton has a whole country depending on him.. That's alot on someones shoulders.

I also see Ricky eating Floyd's right all night. Cut, bruised, minced and chopped to pieces.

If Ricky can get the fight at 140 it'd be neat, but I don't think Floyd would agree to that.

You think Hatton vs Mayweather is bad business?
You sound more like a stock market broker than a fight fan.
It's got the potentail for fight of the decade IMO.
    I think it will happen...

Just because I'd love to see the fight doesn't mean it's good business for them.

Goody for me. Goody for you. No goody for them.

Hatton's arms are too short. If Floyd get's on his bike, stops, pops, bikes, he'll look like Corrales did.

I want to make clear I'm no Mayweather fan. I want to see this son of a ***** taken out. I just don't see it happening, and frankly, neither does Ricky. It's not a slight on him -- he's a good fighter, gives it his all, and I'll continue to watch his fights, but just because we want to see someone give Floyd a run for his money doesn't mean he has to willingly be led to the slaughter.

He seemed real humble saying that his 4 rounds(of holding and wrestling) were more exciting than Mayweather vs. De La Hoiya. Not only humble, but ****ing ******ed.
