Am I the only one that thinks Hopkins at 43 shouldn't be looking for Calzaghe?

Calzaghe 'nuthuggers' would be clamouring for this fight. True Calzaghe fans know it does little for his resume, given Bernard's age.

Hopkins 'nuthuggers' would NOT want this fight as it would be cruel and vicious to their icon.

I'm not sure where that leaves you.

    a) Deluded

    b) Drunk

    c) Stoned

    d) A BHop hater

    e) All of the above

Hopkins can still make the argument that he belongs in the ring with anyone when you judge his accomplisments, including his past 2 fights. He has also shown he's aged from last year to this one. By the time this fight is made, we'll be in yeat another year.

Hopkins has every right to take this fight, but I would rather see him pass.

His only chance is to counter Calzaghe with that right hand, which he will likely be capable of no matter how old he gets, and avoid enough of Joe's punches to still win rounds. Avoiding punches is going to very difficult for the 43 year old, especially since his legs looks as though they've almost left him. Joes's activity and speed are too much for him now I fear.
