He has earned his stripes your quite right. Something that stopped him from getting the respect that he deserves, I can’t work it out, might be his personality, not comfortable talking, I don’t know

 

Does anyone really want to see those two in a ring together ever again? Maybe some kind of sado masochistic billionaire with a penchant for horror stories could pay them to fight in his private dungeon. Just as long as no tv cameras are allowed and we don't have to read about it afterwards.

Degale Groves unification looks like it could be a lucrative end to his career. A couple of years ago I'd have strongly favoured Degale but on recent showing you'd have to think Groves will win at a canter.

 

To be honest i thought he lost both fights and i also thought Jack beat him.

Having said that i thought he did enough against Groves.

But yes to the OP. He is done at the top tier and must be praying Groves beats Smith so he can fight him ajd cash out.

Wouldn't be surprised if he fought Eubank win or lose after as the money will be good for that and may be the type of fight Eubank would take

I personally thought Truax won again, don't think
it was a robbery as Truax was quite sloppy but
Truax appears to be Degale's Waterloo.

Degale should retire, his best days are far
behind him, at the very least stay away
from Truax. The odd thing is even with his showings
against Degale, I can think of no less than 5 or 6
SMW's that would push Truax's **** in. *shrugs*

 

Age is just catching or has caught up with him, DeGale type of boxing does not go well once you start slowing down. He looked bad at times and is getting caught far too often

He has been a credit to British boxing, has been a world champ for a good time. never really been in the public eye and never probably made the money the others did.

But in all a great career i hope he has invested what he has, maybe get a couple of easy fights and I hope he retires. Good luck to him
