Am I the only one who came away from that fight thinking Solis can do it

solis was doing pretty good, until he got nailed in his fat forehead and lost by TKO in round 1

hhhhmmm solis took a small shot, got wobbled, hurt his leg, he looked decent before that but saying he was going to win is way off the mark imo, if that small shot wobbled him what happens when he really gets hit? more wobbles you would think at the least or maybe lights out

This guy knows his s*it. I only disagree with the "fat or not" part. Had Solis not have that flabby gut, he probably wouldn't have even been injured. Also, I thought Vitali walking into the punching range with his left down was actually because he finally deteriorated and couldn't even see how much he's risking (with his reflexes not being what they used to be). But I don't know if he necessarily means something else.

Right, because part of boxing now seems to be blocking punches with the top of your head, because that's the part of the body used by Solis to absorb that punch.

That punch wasnt enough to end the fight or even close to it, the knee injury was.

 

You have to bring more to the table than Solis.

no Solis was not injured. Vitali's punch was so powerful...that a GLANCING blow caused Solis's legs to buckle to such a degree that he tore his joints...and as a result could not get up........... it was Vitali's HERCULEAN POWER that caused it. didnt you see it?! the glancing blow buckled Solis so HARD that his ligaments came undone.
