Am i the only one who gets frustrated watching Olimpic boxing??

do any of you know what was the old olympic boxing scoring system was like...because if the scoring system is wack right now..how wuz it back then??

 

I can only appreciate it, if I don't look at the scores. I stopped giving a crap about amateur boxing in Seoul.

 

Much like pro boxing. The judges gave their take on whom they thought won the rounds going on different criterias, such as pressure, clean shots, etc.

 

Olympic boxing is just boring to watch! Because you know its so corrupted it kills the fun of seeing it.

 

The scoring system is bad enough with just counting punches then to make matters worse about 75% of the punches that land aren't counted. I hat eto say but I put very little value on olypmic medals afte seeing this.

 

I dont care to watch its too frustrating the scoring system is a load of ****.

 

They air olympic boxing? Haven't caught a western european channel doing so, but given the fact that it is judged, it is flawed by definition. Especially with (former) communist/dictatorial countries and judged involved, who really cares?

Have watched match-after-match and just gotten more and more frustrated!

Forget the body as a target - DOESN'T SCORE!

Some of the matches have been excellent. But the score cards are a bloody joke!
