Am I the only one who just can't watch George in his prime?

Name one guy who had a more similar career to 70s Foreman than prime McCall. Liston doesn't count bc he had too much depth. Btw I think you're just inventing rankings because it's uncomfortable for you to think about. No same person thinks that Peralta and LeDoux would beat Akinwande and Maskaev, hence the "rankings" lose meaning.

Where do you have Foreman ranked all time? Thank you in advance.

That's right, the Shavers who almost knocked out Larry Holmes and went on to beat Simms and Bugner. Have a seat.

Top 15. I'm not sure where he'd be without the comeback though.

Well said Steve and 100% true. And Joe was no dummy, as some fools (including Pacheco) tried to paint him. Joe was an intelligent man.

I've already embarrassed him in a poll before, it doesn't phase him. You're talking to a guy who said James Toney would knock out Foreman and ignored like 10 people laughing at him. He'll just act as if going against the grain automatically makes him look brilliant, but his arguments aren't even remotely convincing.

When did Ferdie say Joe was a dummy? He asked Ali Why he demeaned Frazier so much by prefacing his remarks by saying "you're a man he's a man...."

Toney can't hit hard enough to get George's attention. He's going to eat a lot of leather if he hopes to outbox him.

Can't remember where I saw it exactly - but he did call Frazier dumb. I'll see if it comes to me and will quote it or link it.

I think roided Toney could do a little better than Alex Stewart.

Alex Stewart KO% leading up to his fight with Foreman: 92% KO ratio.

James Toney KO% at HW: 26%

Now I'm not a math wizard, but looking at the numbers gives me some serious doubt that Toney could ever crack harder than Stewart, with or without roids.

Stopped a decrepit, shopworn old Hoylfield who was going life and death with guys like John Ruiz and Chris Byrd. Not a very noteworthy stoppage.

I think you might referring to what Pacheco said about Frazier getting back up and continue to match straight into Foreman's punches in their first fight. He seemed to be almost offended by what he viewed as Frazier's lack of concern for his own well being.

But never stopped after that fight and only once in his career before that.
