Am I the only one who likes GGG and Ward?

No I am too although I do prefer Golovkin.

Having said that it's the old sega/Nintendo fan when you was at school you had to be a fan of one or the other, couldn't be both.

Same applied to Pac and Joy, but the floor and pact Ards are/where unbearable.

 

I'm the same way with Mayweather and Pacquiao. Though, I'll admit that after they blatantly ripped fans off on May 2nd that I've felt very disappointed/irritated towards them.

I like them both, both my top 5 active fighters, but at 168 Ward beats him.

He's just boring and ugly to watch, he supposedly has amazing skills, so when he's gonna use them? most of the time he just mauls, hugs and smothers people on the inside. He beat Kessler with a headbutt that came from across the ring, it was disgusting. No wonder the diva cant get out of his home turf, he's afraid of fighting away from his referee and judges who allow him to fight as dirty as he wants, he thinks he's always the A side despite the fact he cant draw flies to **** and is more inactive than a rock in the middle of the desert

and you can bet anyone who calls himself ¨Son of God¨ is a self absorbed douchebag

 

I like both fighters. Both bring their own style to the table. One has beautiful foot work, mixed with Power/Timing, and now - signs of intelligence (which most of us haven't seen before the Lemmy fight). The other has sloppy and ugly fights, poise and patient, but wow, what skill!

I don't see how, if one is a fan of boxing, they can not like certain fighters. Boxing is made up of all these fighters that specializes in their skill (be it stalker, boxer, boxer/puncher, KO artist, defensive). We enjoy boxing to see if this style beats this style.

Some folks enjoy a Slugger vs a Mover better, and has every right too. But to **** on that fighter because they dont fight a preferred style is cheesy. If you like boxing, then you should appreciate all styles regardless if it's not your personal favorite style.

Now Trash Talkers that are unprofessional is a different story....

 

Would be a fan of ward if he actually fought bodies, but the guy knows he would get a pasting if he faced his challengers so instead plays politics.

 

Ward is hardly active. Tough to like him when he's idle during such a long time in his prime.

not a fan or a hater of either....both guys are fighters in a sport i love.....

i have a problem with gggs fans and how they act.....they are everything wrong with boxing "fans"....they are like pac fans years ago..in fact they are the same people most likely....looking for a new hero.....

these guys bash other fighters for things ggg gets a pass for....ggg can run his mouth until ward steps into the equation and its backtrack city...and a laundry list of excuses.....

 

How can you not be " a fan of either" when between them they offer virtually everything that is great about the sport? Unusual.

Ah right yeah fanboys are a bit weird. Most of the fanboy posts seem to be troll / jokes to be fair. I don't think they actually worship GGG or believe he beats SRL 😀

 

I'd absolutely love to see this fight @ 168lbs. The Bumlovkin HYPE train would get derailed.
