How gigantic Pacquiao's calves were/are? His power comes from sharp straight punches which launch from his legs. That power has always been there and he has always had it. Moving up in weight the way he has, has been his genetic gift from day 1. He wins because of his head movement, his warrior attitude, his angles of punches and the speed he employs.
Here are a few points I would like to remind you guys of.
    1. David Diaz said he could handle his power, not his speed.
    2. Cotto said he couldn't see where the punches were coming from.
    3. Oscar De La Hoya said he was suprised Pacquiao didn't knock him out, he was waiting for something big and it never came.
    4. The punch that took hatton's head off was the same punch tarver landed on Jones' chin... an unseen left hook from down south.

Steroids do not provide you with extra stamina and accuracy. They don't give you better head movement or hand speed. They do not provide better footwork or feints. We have all watched the progression of Manny's career and the circumstances surrounding it, and we all know Manny is the same little beast that he ever was, he's been the "prime" guy in each recent fight.
He did not beat De La Hoya from 2000.
He did not beat the Hatton who beat Kostya tzu.
He did not beat the Cotto who beat Mosley.
He did however beat all of these men, while they were still relevant.
There is nothing unexplainable going on here, we have 2 prime fighters who have made names off of slightly lesser opposition, and now they have to meet to see who is the ultimate boxer for the times.
This is all overblown for nothing. Manny Pacquiao did not come up to WW and demolish anyone uncharacteristically.
No one even mentioned steroids until Floyd Sr threw up a red flag. Stop being sheep in the boxing herd. Think about this **** for a few minutes.

Depending on what you take, PEDs can improve speed and stamina. Why do you think cyclist take EPO? EPO improves stamina.

When has manny ever struggled with stamina?
Where was the EPO talk when Manny was going the distance with top lightweights?

This all boils down to the same thing we have seen in boxing for years. The guy who trains the hardest coming out on top. Manny trains for an entire country.
Mike tyson.... Ali... Leonard... Hagler.... Ray Robinson.... Holyfield

All known for living in the gym. First guy in last guy out.
Manny and Floyd both fall into this category.

I never said Pacquiao was on EPO. You said there's nothing that improves speed and stamina and that's not true. Illegal substances can help make training easier, because you are able to train harder for longer periods of time and you also recover faster. Training hard does not equate to being clean. You said: "Manny trains for an entire country". I say: Manny could be cheating for himself.

When did you first say "Manny could be cheating for himself."???
    Before or after Floyd sr.???

This is a horrible accusation for Floyd to be making, because regardless it will throw questions into the air and taint Manny's career.
If Manny has never even been accused of cheating before, or had a failed drug test, there is no reason to start treating him like a guilty man.

I would love to see any thread on this forum where someone was accusing Manny Pacquiao of taking performance enhancing drugs before Floyd Sr. opened his big mouth.
He's been mostly the same fighter for as long as I can recall. He hasn't gotten bigger and more powerful, just better at using his right hand in conjunction with his great left.

Good post! I recently read that Mayweather Sr interview on the front page and found it pretty distasteful that he would make so much of a fuss over something he thinks. Perhaps such would have been justified provided he had more then a suspicion of Pac using illegal supplements.

    Let's get the fight signed

This is just as damaging to a career as someone being accused of being a child molester or something. As soon as the accusation is thrown out, it hurts the reputation of the person whether it is true or not.
Floyd Mayweather owes Manny Pacquiao a huge apology for speculating on such career damaging accusations.

Great points OP and I'm sure there won't be too many members here giving us links of proof that they actually posted such statements prior to hearing it from the mouth of a crack head.

It's crazy because we're witnessing this beast from the east rise up right before our very eyes and SO MANY people here choose to allow Sr to blindfold them like brainless sheep.

Open your eyes and take it all in. The PacMan has always been a little monster so stop pretending like he's not capable. With the right guidance, nutrition, and workout regime what do you think is going to happen? He's going to reach his full potential. Plus the man is nothing but heart and has also improved technically so to question how he's been able to progress with all that going for him is just plain stupid.

Pac has always been like this. The Mexican fans were quite aware of Pac's ferocity and the only new thing is he's bringing it up in weight classes so that the whole world is facing the same threat the Mexican elite faced. But let's make one thing clear, Pac cut his teeth in great fights against that elite. Pac doesn't have more power at these classes, the only difference is he retained his speed, and his boxing skills are fantastic. Pac is a throwback, that's all that's going on and he's scaring the **** out of everyone.

    Diaz was a bum,
    Oscar was shot, drained, old,
    Hatton was chinny,
    Cotto was damaged,

Plus Pacquiao drains his opponents and puts weight caps on them on fight night...

    ...and PEDs.

I can't believe Vargas got knocked out by De la Hoya, damn m'fer was on steroids that's not suppose to happen.
