Safe bet, Cotto has this one.
(I'd like Miguel to score a KO, Go into a Canelo fight w/momentum)

Cotto is a warrior and he will come to play. Bet on it. Trout hasn't fought elite competition like Cotto yet, so he's just someone that's remained undefeated in a short career. Cotto's coming off a decisive loss (to our generation's best boxer) which he looked great in.

I think Cotto should win a UD and could possibly even see Cotto stopping this dude. People underestimate Cotto often

People thought Foreman would beat Cotto. But I think Cotot elevated his game for that Mayweather fight and look to see him shine vs Trout. Cotto has got this. Trout looked great vs Delvin Rodriguez but Delvin is nowhere near Cotto.

No, I can see Trout giving Cotto trouble. Frankly, I have yet to see a truly impressive performance at LMW by Cotto. He might well prove too small for the best at 154 (which he clearly belongs to).

From what I've seen of Trout, he's not ready for this level yet. He didn't look good at all when he needed to against a durable but average Rodriguez. Had he looked good in that fight and impressed he would have been fighting Canelo likely. That was a terrible overall performance and if he fights like that against Cotto he will lose soundly. Maybe this fight will be his coming out party and he will put it all together, but I still choose Cotto by UD.

Trout obviously has some ability and a super tricky style. Plus he's fought in hostile territory before, and emerged with a clear victory. So a Trout victory isn't out of the question.

That said, Cotto's recent form has been better, he's been more active and he's faced better opposition in general. Gotta make him the clear favorite based on that.

As a huge Cotto fan, I'll admit this fight makes me a little nervous. Trout has solid boxing skills and is a natural 154 pounder. He could make this fight a little ugly and difficult to score. Hopefully, Cotto can get underneath his jab and get back to throwing the great body shots he did a few years ago.

I think Trout will beat Cotto. I feel it is a horrible move to put Cotto against Trout.

Trout is a solid spoiler who is bigger than Cotto. I honestly thing Trout will batter Cotto via jab clinch and frustrate Cotto so much that he will start making stupid mistakes and get taken out late.

People forget Cotto has always had a shaky chin and he is not in his real division.

I don't think Cotto will be the same after that beating he took from May, at least take on a can coming off of a lose, I'm having a hard time understanding this match
